Kasi Boddy-McAuley is a creative problem-solver who works closely with her clients to provide strategic advice and compelling legal representation.

Kasi first joined St. Lawrence Barristers in 2023 as a law student where she provided research and writing for a variety of legal issues, including matters before the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. Kasi recently completed her articles at the firm and is delighted to continue on as a lawyer.

Kasi’s practice areas include professional liability and regulation, not-for-profit governance, administrative law, and charter litigation. Kasi also acts for clients on a variety of tort matters, including media and defamation, anti-SLAPP litigation, intimate image abuse, online harassment, and representing survivors of sexual violence and institutional abuse. Kasi strives to provide her legal services in an inclusive, and trauma-informed manner.

Kasi completed her Juris Doctor at Osgoode Hall Law School. While at school, Kasi participated in a variety of clubs and programs, including the Innocence Project Clinic, Mock Trial (variety show), and the Disability Collective’s mentorship program. Kasi was also a finalist in the 2024 Julius Alexander Isaac Moot where she and her co-counsel won the Best Factum award.

Outside of her legal career, Kasi is an artist and graphic designer. Before attending law school, Kasi spent summers working with her family at Muskoka Woods and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Industries at Toronto Metropolitan University, focusing on live music, theatre, and media business. Kasi is always finding new ways to bridge her creative passions and legal interests.
