Ashleigh Middleton is an articling student at St. Lawrence Barristers PC. Ashleigh recently graduated from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law. Before going to law school, Ashleigh obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Criminology and Socio-Legal Studies from the University of Toronto.

While in law school, Ashleigh developed interests in both advocacy and dispute resolution. She put her learning to the test by representing the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law in the International Client Interviewing Competition.

She also produced major research projects on topics of consumer protection and international anti-corruption law. During her final year of law school, Ashleigh worked as a research assistant to the Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD). Her work contributed to the “Sanctioning Foreign Bribery Through Multijurisdictional Resolutions” reports. Ashleigh is also a keen reader and acted as a founder and treasurer for the University of Ottawa Law and Literature Society.

Ashleigh first joined St. Lawrence Barristers in 2024 and is excited to continue exploring her interests in corporate and commercial litigation, regulatory compliance, and administrative law.
